D.A.SH · D.A.SH - Kyber - Bowl - Clear
Model: Clear
€29.90*
The D.A.SH Kyber is a plug-in glass base in a conical shape with facets. It is built in standard size, up to 17 cm wide and weighs about 1.5 kg. It is made in Spain and intended for medium-sized hookahs.
The Clear version is colourless and transparent.
You can find more sizes and shapes among the glass bases.
Conical shape with facets
The Kyber tapers upwards. The facet-like cuts break the light and emphasise the cone shape. In the clear glass you see the water level and the diffuser. The Kyber is available in Clear and in Black. The Kyber Mini is a model of its own.
Normal glass instead of crystal glass
The base is made of normal glass and is lighter than a crystal glass base. Depending on the batch it is mouth-blown or pressed. On pressed bases fine seams can be visible and small air bubbles are possible. This is part of production. The neck opening measures 4.5 cm inside and 7 cm outside.
Plug-in base without thread
The Kyber has no screw thread. The smoke column is plugged into the neck with a silicone gasket, so the base only fits hookahs with a plug-in system. Before inserting, measure your downstem including the diffuser; in the base it should not touch the glass bottom.
How to use the Kyber
- Hold the downstem with the diffuser in the base and check that it does not touch the bottom.
- Pour in water until the downstem dips in about 2 to 3 cm.
- Push the smoke column with the gasket firmly into the neck of the base.
- Stand the hookah upright, attach the hose and start smoking.
Care
Rinse the base by hand with lukewarm water after the session, with mild washing-up liquid if needed. Not in the dishwasher. No boiling water, no quick change between hot and cold: glass cannot withstand thermal shock.

Frequently asked questions
What distinguishes the Kyber from the Kyber Mini?
The Kyber is the standard size for medium-sized hookahs. The Kyber Mini is more compact at about 21 cm tall and a model of its own.
Does the Kyber fit hookahs with a thread?
No. It is a plug-in base without a screw thread.
Are seams or air bubbles a defect?
No. They arise depending on production and do not affect the function.
