How does the HOOKAIN SHROOM work with different HMDS?
The SHROOM is compatible with all HMDS (Heat Management Devices). Due to the thermal properties of the used material, using stainless steel attachments is recommended, but aluminum attachments also work perfectly. This gives you the opportunity to use your preferred attachment to achieve the best shisha experience.
Even though the Phunnel is handmade and no mold exists, we offer you a perfect Phunnel-Fit, as measurements are taken during the production process.
How much tobacco fits in the SHROOM?
The tobacco chamber of the SHROOM is designed to hold different amounts of tobacco depending on the setup. The capacity also depends on the type of tobacco.
Our Nature Base has the most volume and the lightest weight.
A DarkBlend, on the other hand, has little volume and is heavy.
Virginia sorts itself in terms of consumption in the middle.
When built on light nub contact, the chamber holds 14-15g of Virginia tobacco.
When built with spacing, 10-12g of tobacco is enough to sufficiently fill the chamber. For those who want to be precise, with the Nature Base, you can count on 10g-12g, with Virginia tobacco up to 12g-15g, and with Dark Blend up to 14g-16g can fit,
if you want to smoke on contact.
Note on use with different types of tobacco
The quantities described in the text are based on tests with the HOOKAIN NATURE BASE. Therefore, there may be slight deviations when using DarkBlend or Virginia tobacco. Nevertheless, the SHROOM offers an excellent performance with these types of tobacco.
