Lesh Lip Phunnel by Hookain
The Lesh Lip is a Hookain phunnel for sessions that are not meant to end after an hour. The head was developed over around 10 months and tuned in many samples. The focus was on the material blend, weight, firing temperature and glaze.

Lesh Lip for long phunnel sessions
What matters most is the blend of two fireclay clays. Fireclay is heat-resistant and stores heat well. The head is meant to absorb the heat and release it evenly again.
Hookain tip: 17 to 24 g fit in the reservoir, and we recommend 24 g. With this fill the tobacco is burnt through evenly after about 1 hour 45.
What makes the Lesh Lip special
The head is solidly built, has a high weight of its own and, because of the material blend and weight, is fired at higher temperatures. On top comes a multi-layer glaze, and it is made by hand. The aim is for the tobacco in the reservoir to burn evenly over the whole session.

How to pack the Lesh Lip sensibly
Loosen the tobacco and spread it evenly around the centre hole, just below the rim. The centre hole stays free so that airflow and heat can work cleanly.
Practical tip: Give the head some time when lighting up and do not adjust in a hurry straight away. With a heavy phunnel it is worth building the base heat first.
When the Lesh Lip is the right choice
The Lesh Lip is for anyone who wants to smoke long sessions with a phunnel. With a reservoir of around 17 to 24 g it is designed for long sessions. If you prefer to pack once and then smoke through as evenly as possible, this is the right direction.
Compared with the Lit Lip, a session in the Lesh Lip lasts around 30 to 45 minutes longer. The Lesh Lip comes in various designs, such as Sky Blue, Milky Way or Purple Lean.
