How to pack True Passion properly
True Passion is Virginia and therefore forgiving when packing the head. Go for a loose fill in a phunnel or a classic clay bowl, two coals, and a patient first few draws.
The citrus flavours such as Le Chill or Arctic Line come across most clearly at moderate heat - too much charcoal makes the acidity sharp instead of fresh.
Practical tip: with elderflower and lime, the Okolom series tends to be zesty. If you like it rounder, add Cinderella or Love Story.
Storage: how True Passion stays good for long
Store tins in a cool, dark and airtight place - not near the heating and not open in sunlight. Smoke opened tins within a few weeks, since the tobacco then gives up moisture and aroma.
If the tobacco feels dry or crumbly, it is no longer at the standard the brand had in mind. In that case, rather open a fresh tin.
