Virginia with its own profile: Tumbaki at a glance
All flavours are available in 200 g. The palette is deliberately compact, and in return every flavour has a clear character.
Which Tumbaki direction suits you?
Tumbaki covers three directions: fruity mixes, spicy classics and ice-cold flash flavours. The table shows you the most important representatives.
| Direction | Flavour | Profile |
|---|---|---|
| Fruity | Abra Cadabra, Unix, Purple Effect | Peach with watermelon, passion fruit with honeydew melon and mint, or dark berries - fruity with depth |
| Spicy & sweet | Double App, Golden Pista | Double apple with aniseed, or pistachio with caramel - classic and round |
| Cold & icy | Blue Flash, Wild Flash, Triple G Flash | Blueberry with ice, strawberry with raspberry and blackberry with ice, or grape with ice - for fresh sessions |
The flash flavours are the ice version of the fruit flavours - the same fruit base with a cool note on top.
How to pack Tumbaki properly
Tumbaki is Virginia and forgives mistakes when packing the head. Fill loosely in a phunnel or classic clay head, use two charcoals and let it draw patiently.
The flash flavours come across most clearly at moderate heat - the ice note lasts longest with less charcoal.
Practical tip: Double App is the classic double apple - anyone who likes it spicy reaches for this. The flash flavours are the fresher alternative.
Storage: how Tumbaki stays good for long
Store the tins cool, dark and airtight - not next to the radiator and not open in the sun. Smoke opened tins within a few weeks, as after that the tobacco loses moisture and aroma.
If the tobacco feels dry or crumbly, it is no longer at the standard the brand intended. In that case, better open a fresh tin.
Note: hookah tobacco is for adults only. Nicotine-containing products can be addictive - even Virginia tobacco with a low nicotine content.
Who Tumbaki is meant for
Tumbaki suits you if you like a small, curated selection instead of an endless flavour list. Each flavour has a clear character without you having to search for long.
If you are starting out with the brand: Abra Cadabra for fruity, Double App for classic, Wild Flash for icy.
