Geekvape - Aegis HQ - Black

The Geekvape Aegis HQ is a compact pod mod with a 1,300 mAh battery and up to 30 watts. The Q pods hold 3 ml, are filled from the side and have built-in coils. Two pods with 0.6 and 0.8 ohm are part of the set. This version has a housing in black.

Battery and power

The battery has 1,300 mAh and is charged via USB-C with 5 V and 2 A. In variable-wattage mode you set the power up to 30 watts, and the value is shown on a 0.54 inch OLED display. It fires with the fire button or by drawing on the mouthpiece. The housing has a faux leather surface and a protective coating against knocks and drops. It measures 82.91 x 51.02 mm.

Pods, airflow and draw characteristics

You set the airflow with a slider on the top in three steps. The more air inlets you close, the more restricted the draw becomes. The pre-installed 0.6 ohm pod is designed for 18 to 25 watts and covers DL. The 0.8 ohm pod works at 12 to 18 watts and suits more restricted draws (MTL and RDL). How to get started with the Aegis HQ

1. Charge the battery fully via USB-C.
2. Before the first filling, put a few drops of e-liquid into the openings of the coil and let it soak for a few minutes.
3. Fill the pod from the side. You do not have to take it off the device to do so.
4. Wait a few minutes until the coil has soaked.
5. Start with low power within the pod's wattage range and set the airflow to suit your draw. Do not draw when the pod is almost empty, otherwise a dry hit is likely.
