GeekVape - Aegis Solo 2 - Kit - Grey

The Geekvape Aegis Solo 2 Kit consists of a mod for one 18650 battery cell and the Z Subohm 2021 Tank. The mod delivers up to 100 watts, and the tank holds 5.5 ml. Two Z coils with 0.2 and 0.25 ohm are included. The battery cell is not included.

This version has a Grey mod. You can find replacement Z coils under Atomizer heads and coils.

Mod and power

Power is adjustable from 5 to 100 watts; maximum output voltage is 8.5 V. The resistance range is 0.1 to 3.0 ohm. The device is operated with the fire button and two adjustment buttons; a 1.08-inch display shows the readings. Charge the cell inside the device via USB-C. The body is protected against water and dust to IP68.

Tank, coils and draw

The Z Subohm 2021 Tank fills from the top, where you also adjust the airflow. The pre-installed 0.2 ohm coil is designed for 70 to 80 watts; the 0.25 ohm coil for 45 to 57 watts. Both are intended for DL. With the airflow wide open, plenty of air flows through the tank; smaller openings make the draw tighter.

Getting started with the Aegis Solo 2

1. Insert a charged 18650 cell with a high current rating. Observe the polarity.
2. Before first filling, wet the coil with a few drops of e-liquid and leave it to soak for a few minutes.
3. Fill the tank from the top and wait until the coil has soaked.
4. Start at the lower end of the coil's wattage range and increase power gradually.
5. Adjust the airflow to suit your draw. Do not draw when the tank is almost empty, as this risks scorching.
