The Geekvape Aegis Solo 3 Kit consists of a mod for one 18650 battery cell and the Z Subohm 2021 Tank. The mod delivers up to 100 watts, and the tank holds 5.5 ml. Two Z coils with 0.2 and 0.4 ohm are included. The battery cell is not included. This variant has a Green body. You can find more devices from the brand under Geekvape mod sets.
Mod and power
Power is adjustable from 5 to 100 watts, and the resistance range is 0.1 to 3.0 ohm. The AS 4.0 chipset offers Power, VW, TC/TCR, Boost, ECO and Memory modes, with five memory slots. A 0.96-inch colour display shows the readings. The back is soft-touch: picking up the device unlocks it; putting it down locks it again. This can be disabled in Unlock mode. Charge the cell inside the device via USB-C at up to 2 A. The body is protected against water and dust to IP68.
Tank, coils and draw
The mod has a 510 thread and accommodates tanks up to 24 mm in diameter without overhang. The Z Subohm 2021 Tank fills from the top, where you also adjust the airflow. The pre-installed 0.2 ohm coil is designed for 70 to 80 watts; the 0.4 ohm coil for 50 to 60 watts. Both are intended for DL.
Getting started with the Aegis Solo 3
- Insert a charged 18650 cell with a high current rating. Observe the polarity.
- Before first filling, wet the coil with a few drops of e-liquid and leave it to soak for a few minutes.
- Fill the tank from the top and wait until the coil has soaked.
- Start at the lower end of the coil's wattage range and increase power gradually.
- Adjust the airflow to suit your draw. Do not draw when the tank is almost empty, as this risks scorching.

How does the lock work?

Auspacken und loslegen
Beim ersten Mal lief alles auf Anhieb, ohne Nachjustieren. Mit meinem Liquid entsteht ein runder, voller Dampf. Selbst abendds im Wohnzimmer, wenn alles still ist, hört man den Zug kaum.

Ehrlich gesagt hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass es mir so gut gefällt. Farblich trifft das Grün genau das, was die Fotos versprochen haben. Die Aromen sind gut unterscheidbar, auch bei fruchtigen Mischungen. Seit dem letzten Frühjahr im Einsatz, und es hatte noch keine Aussetzer.

Lohnt sich!
Grundsätzlich gut, mit einer Ausnahme. Meine erste Bestellung hier, und ich bin positiv überrascht. Keine scharfen Kanten, keine Spaltmaße, über die man sich ärgern müsste. Der Karton war stabil und die Ware gut geschützt. Wer es gern leicht mag, wird sich an das Gewicht erst gewöhnen müssen.
