The Geekvape Digi Max is a pod kit with a built-in 3000 mAh battery and up to 80 watts. The J-Pod holds 5 ml and is filled from the side. Two J coils with 0.4 and 0.6 ohm are included; operation is via a 1.47-inch colour touchscreen. This version has a Gunmetal body.
Battery and power
Output power is adjustable from 5 to 80 watts. The built-in battery charges via USB-C at up to 2 A; a power adapter is not included in the kit. The device is around 112 mm long and 34 mm wide.
Pod and coils
The Digi Max accepts J-Pods and JR-Pods. The J coils use a plug-and-pull system: push the coil into the pod and simply replace it when needed. These wattage ranges apply to the coils: you can find more devices from the manufacturer under Geekvape mod kits.
- 0.4 ohm: 23 to 28 watts (RDL)
- 0.6 ohm: 16 to 21 watts (RDL)
- 0.8 ohm: 12 to 17 watts (MTL/RDL, available separately)
- 1.2 ohm: 8 to 12 watts (MTL, available separately)
Operation and modes
Four modes are available: Smart, Boost, ECO and Custom. In Smart mode, the device detects coil resistance and selects the appropriate power range; ECO is the power-saving mode, and in Custom mode you set the wattage yourself. Activated by drawing or pressing the fire button. The display shows power, battery level, puff count and coil resistance, among other readings. Use the A-Lock switch to lock the device, for example when carrying it in a bag. The slider on the pod provides continuous airflow adjustment.
Getting started with the Digi Max
- Charge the battery via USB-C.
- Insert the J coil into the pod and place the pod on the mod.
- Fill with e-liquid from the side and let the coil soak for a few minutes before taking the first draw.
- Start at low power at the bottom of the coil's wattage range: around 23 watts at 0.4 ohm.
- Adjust the airflow using the slider and adjust the power in small steps if needed.

Selbsterklärend
Als Zweitgerät im Auto gedacht, damit ich nichts hin und her tragen muss. Seit Dienstag in Gebrauch, und die Bedienung saß schon am ersten Abend. Liefert Zug für Zug gleichmäßig ab, auch wenn die Ladung schon weiter untn ist. Wer es gern leicht mag, wird sich an das Gewicht erst gewöhnen müssen.

Ein Volltreffer
Auch für jemanden ohne Erfahrung ist die Einrichtung in ein paar Handgriffen gemacht. Macht einen robusten Eindruck, ich habe keine Sorge, dass es in der Tasche leidet. Einziger Minuspunkt: diesmal war das Paket einen Tick länger unterwegs. Das nächste Mal gern erneut.

Geschmack kommt klar rüber
Ein Bekannter hat mir die Grundlagen erklärt, gewählt habe ich dann selbst. Bin rundum glücklich damit. Nach dem zweiten Abend ist der Geschmack noch genauso klar wie am Anfang. Wolken, wie ich sie mag, ohne dass ich auf der Dachterrasse alles vernebele. Der Bote war sogar vor Mittag da. Einziger Minuspunkt: etwas viel Verpackungsmaterial für so eine kleine Sendung. Von mir eine klare Fünf.
