Ice and menthol define the flavour: fresh and cold, without a fruit note.
Base and consistency
hookahSqueeze consists of glycerine, diatomaceous earth, flavouring and colouring and contains neither tobacco nor nicotine. Diatomaceous earth is a heat-resistant mineral that absorbs flavour and glycerine and releases them again when heated. The paste is creamy, and its firmness differs from flavour to flavour. It is made in Germany.
Bowl and heat
hookahSqueeze goes into a phunnel; in multi-hole bowls the paste clogs the holes. Neat, you spread it thinly in the bowl and cover it with an HMD or aluminium foil. It then needs more heat than tobacco: well-burnt charcoal and a few minutes of preheating before the first draw. With tobacco, the paste goes under the tobacco or on top.

My honest opinion after the second evening. I like things fresh and the paste hits that well. Cool, but not so icy it gets unpleasant.
