The OXBAR Oxpod Elite is a flat rectangular metal pod kit with leather side panels. It has a built-in 1300 mAh battery, adjusts from 5 to 30 W and uses a magnetically held pod with a 0.8 ohm mesh coil, holding 8 ml according to the retailer. The device measures 90 × 42 × 15 mm and weighs 59 g. The Black Carbon version has a Black front panel with a carbon pattern and a black frame.
Battery and power
Charging is via USB-C on the bottom. In Smart-VW mode, power is adjustable in 1 W increments between 5 and 30 W. The Oxpod Elite Pod's coil is rated for 18 to 22 W.
Pod and coil
The pod has a built-in 0.8 ohm mesh coil and fills from below (bottom-fill, silicone plug). The transparent body shows the fill level. The pod is designed for MTL and RDL. When the coil's performance declines, replace the entire pod. Replacement 0.8 ohm pods are available in packs of 2.
Operation
The device is draw-activated. Use the round power button to turn it on or off with 5 clicks and adjust power with 3 clicks. To lock or unlock, hold the button for 2 seconds. A compact colour display shows power and battery level; a breathing LED lights up during a draw. The side slider controls the air inlet in three stages from MTL to RDL.
Getting started with the Oxpod Elite
- Charge the device via USB-C.
- Fill the pod from below through the silicone plug and leave it for a few minutes to let the coil soak.
- Turn on the device with 5 clicks and start at low power within the 18 to 22 W range.
- Set the slider to the desired draw and ease into it with short draws.

Vapour is spot on
A mate explained the basics, but I made the choice myself. Clouds the way I like them, without fogging up everything in the living room. A hushed draw with no background noise, unlike my old device. Came discreetly packed with no obvious labelling. Give it a shake and there’s no rattle, which tells me it’s properly built. Schnell startklar
Wurde mir von einem Bekannten ans Herz gelegt. 1300 mAh reichen mir völlig, ich brauche unterwegs kein Ladekabel. Nach ungefähr zehn Tagen bleibt die Leistung konstant, da schwächelt nichts zum Ende hin. Am Donnerstag ausgepackt und direkt startklar gehabt. Bei hellem Licht muss ich genauer hinsehn, um den Ladestand zu erkennen.

Liegt gut in der Hand
Der Wechsel weg von Wegwerfgeräten war der Grund für diese Bestellung. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich angenehm an, weder glitschig noch rau. Kompakt gebaut, ohne dass es sich fummelig anfühlt.
