The Vaporesso Armour Ultra is a battery device with a built-in 5500 mAh battery and 5 to 100 W of power, supplied with the iTank T. The tank holds 6 ml, is filled from the top and works with GTi Dual Mesh coils for the DL draw. The casing is protected against dust and water according to IP68 and IP69K. The Dune Gold variant has a golden casing.
Battery and power
The battery is built in and is charged via USB-C with 5 V and 2 A or 3 A. You set the power from 5 to 100 W. There are also VW, Pulse, Eco and Boost modes as well as temperature control for nickel, stainless steel and titanium. A 0.96-inch colour TFT display shows the values. In addition to IP68 and IP69K, the casing meets the MIL-STD-810H standard. The mod measures roughly 90.7 × 37.6 × 31 mm.
Tank and coils
The iTank T has a glass insert and sits on the 510 thread of the mod. To fill it, you slide the tank cap aside and fill from the top. The airflow is adjusted at the top airflow ring. The kit contains two GTi Dual Mesh coils: 0.2 ohm (pre-installed) for 60 to 75 W and 0.4 ohm for 50 to 60 W.
Operation
The Armour Ultra is designed for DL. In VW mode you set the power yourself; with GTi coils the device can select it automatically. The mod has a 510 thread. You can find more kits and pod systems from the brand in the Vaporesso devices.
Getting started with the Vaporesso Armour Ultra
- Charge the battery via USB-C.
- Fill the tank with liquid from the top.
- Let the coil stand for a few minutes so that the cotton soaks up the liquid. This way you avoid burning (dry hit).
- Start with low power within the wattage range of the coil and increase slowly.
- Set the airflow on the tank.
