What lies behind the value
Energy is only a flavour label: it describes the typical taste of an energy drink, a mix of sugar, acidity and a fruit note that reminds many people of gummy bears or tutti frutti. The value says nothing about the ingredients of any drink.
Because the basic profile is already fruity, manufacturers like to combine it with a clear second fruit. Pear, apple and ginger are level at the front, followed by blueberry and grape. Ginger adds a sharp edge, pome fruit brings juiciness and the berries a dark colour.
A bowl is a small vessel with a hollow for the tobacco, made of ceramic, glass, pumice or metal; smoke passes through its holes into the stem.
