Base tobacco and tin
The base is Virginia Leaf, a light tobacco also known as Blond Leaf. It brings hardly any flavour of its own and absorbs a lot of molasses, the mixture of glycerine, sugar and flavouring in which the tobacco sits. The brand is designed in Germany and produced in the EU. The tobacco goes straight into the tin without a zip bag, and the tin closes with an aroma-tight lid.

How to pack the bowl
The cut is fine and works well in a Phunnel, a bowl with a raised centre hole through which no molasses runs into the stem. Fill the tobacco loosely without pressing it down, and start with little heat so that the citrus notes of Green Lean are preserved.
