The taste value cold describes a cooling effect in the flavour, of the kind ice or menthol notes bring. It therefore cuts across the fruit values: a cold variety can taste of berry, melon or citrus.
Fresh and sweet appear alongside almost equally often, followed by fruity. Minty is much less frequent, so most cold varieties cool without a mint taste. If that is what you are after, combine cold with a fruit flavour and exclude minty.
What a bowl is
The bowl is the vessel with a hollow that holds the tobacco; through holes in the bowl, the smoke passes into the stem. Varieties labelled cold are stocked from Al Fakher, 187 Strassenbande, 7Days, Blaze Dark Leaf and Adalya, among others.
