Stral Heisn Barry is a Virginia hookah tobacco from Germany, in a 200 g tin. Flavour: aniseed, eucalyptus and ice with blackberry.
Aniseed and eucalyptus give a spicy, herbal coolness, and ice is added on top. Underneath lies a dark blackberry that keeps the profile fruity.
The base tobacco is Virginia Leaf, a Blonde Leaf tobacco. The cut is fine, and the moisture is set so that the tobacco is easy to pack into the bowl. It is made in Germany.
The fine cut suits the Phunnel, the multi-hole bowl and the Oblako. Fill the tobacco loosely and light it with little heat. Only add charcoal once the smoke gets thinner.

Nice freshness on the exhale. Anise sits well alongside eucalyptus, neither takes over. Quite wet, I had to dab it before packing.

Etwas zu süß
So ganz überzeugt bin ich nicht. Die Dose war kaum offen, da roch schon die ganze Küche danach. Nach zwei Wochen merke ich, dass mir die Süße auf Dauer zu präsent ist. Leider kommt kaum Geschmack durch, egal wie ich baue, und mit meinem Bruder ging es genauso. Mehr als drei Sterne sind nicht drin.

Voll zufrieden
Die Dose hält den Tabak zuverlässig frisch. Als Virginia Leaf schmeckt die Sorte runder, als ich erwartet hatte. Kopf bauen geht schnell, der Tabak verteilt sich gleichmäßig. Einziger Minuspunkt: diesmal war das Paket einen Tick länger unterwegs. 🙂
