With the Gestalt Octo, the grip of a foil piercer becomes an octopus arm: a curving tentacle lined with rows of suckers runs out into a smooth, gold-coloured point. Werkbund makes it in Russia from stainless steel. The Octo packing fork from the same Gestalt series carries the same motif.

An octopus arm for a grip
The tentacle sweeps in a soft S-curve from its curled end to the point. Raised suckers sit close together along the arm and grow smaller towards both ends. Gold-coloured rims stand out against the dark patina in the hollows.

Point
Smooth and conical for round holes
Unlike a four-sided point, the Octo point is round and tapers evenly. It leaves round holes whose size depends on how deep you push it in. Where it leaves the tentacle the surface is still finely textured; towards the tip it turns smooth and bright.

Werkbund makes the Octo in Russia from stainless steel. The gold-coloured surface with dark hollows is reminiscent of aged bronze.
Care
Keep the suckers dry
Once the bowl is built, remove bits of foil and tobacco. If you rinse the piercer, dry the hollows between the suckers well so nothing settles there.

Which bowls is the Octo suited to?
Bowls you smoke with foil, mainly phunnels and bowls with several holes in the floor. With an HMD you do not need a foil piercer.
How do I control the size of the holes?
Through the depth. Because the point tapers evenly, the hole grows the further you push it through the foil.
Is there an Octo fork as well?
Yes, the Gestalt Octo fork carries the same octopus arm and has three prongs for loosening the tobacco. It is made of forged steel.

Hab es genau unter die Lupe genommen und keinen Mangel entdeckt. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass so eine Kleinigkeit so viel bringt.

Kann mich nicht beklagen. Beim Nachbestellen von Kohle direkt mit in den Warenkorb gepackt. Mit dem Teil wird mein Kopf von Session zu Session konstanter. Neukunde hier, der erste Eindruck stimmt. Sieht auf dem Tisch in der Gartenlaube neben der Shisha richtig gut aus. War ein Geschenk für meinen Bruder, er hat sich sehr gefreut. Beim Kopfbau geht mir jetzt alles leichter von der Hand. Alles richtig gemacht.

Gleichmäßiger Kopfbau :)
Mehr als zufrieden, ehrlich. Einzeln geschützt verpackt, nichts verkratzt. Die Sessions laufen runder, weil der Kopf besser vorbereitet ist. Erleichtert mir den Kopfbau seit drei Wochen mehr, als ich gedacht hätte. Bin Stammkunde hier und wurde wieder nicht enttäuscht.
