Blackburn Haribon 200 g is a Dark Blend hookah tobacco on a Burley base from Russia.
What Haribon tastes like
Haribon tastes like cola gummy bears: sweet and soft, with the typical cola note.
Base tobacco and building the bowl
Dark Burley contains more nicotine than Virginia tobacco. Blackburn is cut medium-fine and very moist. It runs best in a phunnel: fill loosely, leave about 3 mm of air to the rim and do not press it down. Aluminium foil or an HMD goes over it. Start with little heat; two to three charcoals are usually enough, and add more only when the smoke gets thin. If Burley neat is too strong for you, mix it with Virginia tobacco.

Frequently asked questions about Blackburn Haribon
Do I have to stir the tobacco before building the bowl?
Yes. The molasses collects at the bottom; stirring thoroughly once distributes it again.
Which bowl suits it?
A phunnel. That way the very moist tobacco stays above the hole and the molasses does not run into the smoke column.

Well packed!
My concerns went away quickly. Neither side gets lost, the cola sits alongside the lollipop as an equal. Hardly any moisture gets lost between sessions.

passt soweit
