Base tobacco and cut
Theo comes from the Czech Republic and is based on Burley. Virginia and Oriental are also part of the blend. The cut is described as fine, and the tobacco is well moistened and molassed.
Bowl and heat
Theo can be packed loosely or lightly pressed in a multi-hole bowl, clay bowl or phunnel. In the phunnel the tobacco is usually pressed down lightly, in the multi-hole bowl filled loosely. An HMD is usual; aluminium foil with even perforation is an alternative. The tobacco is heat-resistant; depending on the set-up, two to four coals are usual.

Hinten raus schwächer
Die große Packung mit 200 g lohnt mehr als die kleinen Packungen. Zuletzt mit meiner Frau gemerkt: Die letzte Phase der Session schmeckt nur noch nach wenig. Geschmacklich deutlich schwächer, als die Beschreibung vermuten lässt. Die Füllchips waren überall verteilt, sonst alles okay.

solide wahl
Eine grundsolide Angelegenheit. Beim Preis gibt es nichts zu meckern. Die Traube-Note ist schön präsent. Geschmacklich klar fruchtig unterwegs. Hab schon zum zweiten Mal bestellt. Mit Burley als Grundlage bekommt das Aroma mehr Tiefe. Für meinen Geschmack dürfte weniger Zucker im Spiel sein.

Riecht schon frisch
Riecht man in den Beutel hinein, ist der Duft schon sehr präsent! Am Mittwoch kam die Versandmail, kurz danach das Paket. Bei Traube liegt die Sorte nah am Original, nicht an einer Süßigkeit. Der Umkarton hatte eine Delle, drin war zum Glück alles in Ordnung.
