Petit Popo - Phunnel - Off White

Snow-white glaze with a cream undertone: The Petit Popo Off White is a Phunnel made of stoneware that is handmade in Spain. A silicone bowl grommet holds it on the smoke column, and the HMD goes on top.

Construction: chimney instead of bottom holes

The chimney rises in the centre, and the smoke is drawn down through its top opening. The tobacco reservoir lies around the outside. This way no molasses runs into the smoke column; it stays in the reservoir.

Filling and getting it going with an HMD

As a guide, 13 g of Virginia or 16 g of dark leaf fit into the Off White. Fill it loosely, put nothing on the chimney opening and then put the HMD on. How many charcoals you need depends on the HMD and the tobacco: better to start with fewer and add more. A larger bowl of the same construction is available as the Popo Phunnel, and the other colours are listed under Petit Popo.

Light ceramic in everyday use

If molasses soaks into the ceramic over time, it becomes visible as a darker patch. Fine stress lines from the heat are normal with ceramic and not a defect.

Frequently asked questions about the Petit Popo Off White

What colour exactly is the Off White?

A light white with a cream undertone. Because every bowl is handmade, the shade turns out slightly different on each piece than in the photo.

How do I clean the Off White?

Let it cool down completely after the session and only then rinse it out. This way you avoid rapid temperature changes in the ceramic.

How does the bowl sit on the hookah?

With a silicone bowl grommet on the smoke column. Make sure it sits straight and the HMD rests securely on the bowl rim.
