Double apple is not a single flavour but an established blend name. It usually means a sweet red apple combined with a tart green one, topped by a spicy anise note. In the filter, the name is a value of its own next to apple and anise.

What the data shows

The values on double apple varieties confirm the composition: anise is by far the most frequent additional value, followed by apple. Menthol appears alongside only occasionally. Other fruits practically never occur – in the range, double apple remains a distinct, clearly defined direction.
