Savu Cocovay is a Virginia shisha tobacco in a 25 g tin. Flavour: coconut with a creamy note.
Flavour of Cocovay
Cocovay is a coconut tobacco with a creamy vanilla note. The taste is exotic, sweet and slightly fruity.
Base tobacco and cut
The base tobacco is German class 1 Virginia. The cut is fine to medium. The blend is moist and ready to smoke without extra moistening. The manufacturer is the DuCe Tabakmanufaktur in Hofheim am Taunus.
Bowl and heat
In the scene Savu is mostly built in a multi-hole bowl or in a Phunnel with HMD; the multi-hole bowl with chimney is also common. A chimney bowl and aluminium foil work too. You fill the tobacco loose and fluffy without pressing it down, and give it time to light. If the draw turns scratchy, there is usually too much heat.
The 25 g tin
The small tin is meant for trying: it is enough for one or two bowls. If you like the variety, take the large tin next time. Close the lid well after opening so the tobacco does not dry out. You can find all varieties of the brand at Savu.
Contents

Mixed bag
Ordered for the first warm evenings in the garden. Still nicely juicy after three weeks. The outer box had a dent, luckily everything inside was fine. It turned harsh on me quickly, however careful I was.

Proper coconut flavour
Properly packed, the tin feels sturdy and well sealed. Coconut comes through distinctly without being pushy.
