Packing a bowl with dark Burley
Blackburn is made of dark Burley and is stronger than Virginia tobacco. Stir the tin once before every bowl, because the molasses settles at the bottom. In the phunnel, the moist tobacco sits above the hole: pack it loosely, leave a few millimetres of air on top and do not press it down. Put an HMD or thick aluminium foil on top. Start with low heat and only add charcoal when the smoke gets thinner.
If Brauny on its own is too strong for you, mix a small part into Virginia tobacco and raise the share to taste.
