Aroma of Black B
Dark, ripe blackberry, sweet and fruity with a slightly tart note. The fruit comes across as strong and stays present throughout the session.
Base tobacco and cut
Darkside Core is based on burley as a Dark Blend. A small share of Virginia is added. The tobacco is moist and mixed with molasses. Stir it thoroughly before building so the molasses is evenly distributed again, and do not squeeze it out.
Bowl and heat
In the scene, Darkside is usually smoked in a phunnel with an HMD; a multi-hole bowl works too. In the phunnel the tobacco may be lightly pressed down; in the multi-hole bowl you fill it loosely and fluffy. The tobacco tolerates a lot of heat, but it tastes cleaner if you increase the temperature step by step. Start with little charcoal and only add more once the smoke column gets thinner.
