The Geekvape Wenax S3 Evo is a pod mod kit with a built-in 1,100 mAh battery and 5 to 18 watts. The S Cartridge holds 2 ml and has a fixed 0.8 ohm coil for MTL and RDL. The device is 19 mm thick, 123.8 mm long and weighs 50.9 g. This variant has a black body. You can find more devices from the brand in the Geekvape Mod Sets.
Device and power
The S3 Evo works in Adjustable Wattage mode with three power levels. Press the fire button quickly three times to switch level; the LED shows it. The boost button is on the base of the device. It is fired with the fire button, and draw activation can be switched on. Charging is via USB-C.
Cartridge and airflow
The S Cartridge is filled from the side (side-filling). The coil is fixed in the cartridge; when it wears out, you replace the whole cartridge. The slider sets the airflow continuously: the more closed the air inlet, the tighter the draw.
Draw style: MTL and RDL
The 0.8 ohm coil is designed for MTL and RDL. With little air you get a tight draw as in MTL; with more air the draw becomes more open. Power level and airflow together determine how the draw feels.
Getting started with the Wenax S3 Evo
- Charge the battery via USB-C if needed.
- Fill the S Cartridge with e-liquid from the side, up to 2 ml at most.
- Let the cartridge stand for a few minutes so the coil soaks up the liquid. Otherwise it burns (dry hit).
- Start with the lowest power level.
- Set the airflow with the slider and raise the level if needed.

Ich bin wirklich froh über den Kauf. Ausgepackt, kurz geladen, befüllt und schon konnte es losgehen. Die Lieferung kam genau im angekündigten Zeitfenster. Auch im Hof im Halbdunkel ist die Anzeige gut erkennbar. Zuverlässig: jeder Zug fühlt sich an wie der vorherige. Die Kontakte kann man leicht trocken tupfen, wenn beim Befüllen etwas danebengeht.

knapp daneben
Eine grundsolide Angelegenheit. Das Vorgängergerät hat seinen Dienst getan, jetzt sollte ein neues her. Wolken, wie ich sie mag, ohne dass ich auf der Terrasse alles vernebele. Kein Blubbern und kein Zischen, der Zug läuft ruhig. Selbsterklärend: auspacken, kurz umschauen, loslegen. Gut gepolstert, obwohl das Paket sicher nicht sanft behandelt wurde. Preislich liegt es im Rahmen. Liefert Zug für Zug gleichmäßig ab, auch wenn die Ladung schon weiter unten ist.
