The bubblegum flavour usually means the pink bubblegum tone: sweet, fruity without a recognisable single fruit, with a note reminiscent of tutti frutti and banana. There are also varieties that lean more towards mint chewing gum.
Mint, cinnamon, ice
The data reflects exactly these two directions. Mint is the most frequent partner, closely followed by menthol – that is the gum from the stick pack. Cinnamon also appears often and recalls cinnamon gum. Ice adds a cooling effect, strawberry a fruit note.
For the bowl, a design for comparison: on a vortex the central cone is raised as on a phunnel, but the openings sit on the side of the cone rather than on top. Here too the molasses stays in the reservoir and does not drain through the base. Bubblegum varieties are available from Al Waha, Nameless, Jookah, Blackburn and Blaze Dark Leaf, among others.
