What guava tastes like
Guava is a tropical fruit with a distinctive flavour: somewhat pear-like, somewhat like strawberry, with a floral, almost rosy touch and a musky depth. In tobacco it comes across as exotic without being as sour as maracuja.
The combinations show a preference for stone fruit and other exotic fruits. Peach is the most frequent partner, followed level by pineapple, star fruit, mango and an ice note with a cooling effect. Guava therefore often forms the core of tropical blends in which no single fruit dominates.
A simple basic rule applies to the bowl: leave a little air between the tobacco surface and the cover, whether foil, a screen or an HMD sits on top.
