Frequently bought together

Blackburn Trpic Jack 100 g is a Dark Blend hookah tobacco from Russia: ripe jackfruit. A 100 g tin fills about eight bowls.

This is how Trpic Jack tastes

Trpic Jack is jackfruit: ripe, soft and sweetish, with echoes of banana and pineapple, as you know it from the fruit. The flavour is exotic, without acidity and without cooling.

Packing a bowl with dark Burley

Blackburn is made of dark Burley and is stronger than Virginia tobacco. Stir the tin once before every bowl, because the molasses settles at the bottom. In the phunnel, the moist tobacco sits above the hole: pack it loosely, leave a few millimetres of air on top and do not press it down. Put an HMD or thick aluminium foil on top. Start with low heat and only add charcoal when the smoke gets thinner.

If Trpic Jack on its own is too strong for you, mix a small part into Virginia tobacco and raise the share to taste.

Vier Sterne

Beats my old blend

My honest opinion after the second evening. With Burley underneath, the aroma gets more depth. Noticeably more aromatic than my usual go-to.

Well-matched combo

With 100 g I don’t have to keep reordering. Jackfruit sits well alongside mango, neither takes over. When packing it in the basement I noticed there isn’t much juice on it.
