In mixing, the label exotic tells you that a flavouring is shaped by fruits from warm regions. Often this is already a ready-made combination of several fruits; the flavour filter shows exactly which.
Complementing an exotic flavouring
- More acidity: If citrus is listed, a citrus note is already included; otherwise a single citrus flavouring can balance the sweetness.
- Cooling effect: The label cold shows that a cooling effect is already included. If it is missing, you can add ice separately.
- Emphasising a single fruit: An additional mango or maracuja flavouring brings one fruit forward.
Every addition changes the ratio of the components; start from the manufacturers' dosage information and adjust in small steps. Which exotic flavourings are concentrates and which are longfills is listed in the product description. Exotic flavourings are stocked from SC, Dinner Lady, Aroma Syndikat, Bad Candy and 5EL, among others.
