Flavourings labelled fresh have a bright, clear direction, for example through citrus, green fruits or mint. In your own blend they can brighten a heavy, sweet note.
Fresh is not the same as cold
The two labels often appear together but mean different things. Fresh describes the flavour direction, cold a cooling effect. A flavouring labelled fresh but not cold therefore brings no cooling effect; if needed, you add it with ice or menthol.
In the flavourings on this page, fresh is mostly linked with fruity, often with sweet, less often with exotic or minty. When combining, start from the dosage information on the label. Whether you have a concentrate or a longfill is stated in the product description. Fresh flavourings are available from SC, Dr. Frost, Dampflion, 5EL and Bad Candy, among others.
