Black tea stands for dark, strongly brewed tea in the flavour. Some varieties show it on its own, others add lemon, blossom or fruit.

Labelled black tea are varieties whose flavour recalls a dark, long-steeped brew: dry, slightly malty, with a noticeable tannic note. Some carry the tea without any partner, others pair it with fruit or blossom.
- With lemon: the most frequent companion, much like tea with a slice of lemon.
- With bergamot or jasmine: fragrant notes familiar from flavoured tea blends.
- With iced tea and mango: a sweeter, fruity direction.
For mixing with other varieties, the dry tea note suits citrus flavours above all; in large amounts it covers more delicate fruit. Tea notes come through most clearly at even, not too high heat on the bowl, and a heat management device helps you control the temperature. Black tea varieties are stocked from Kismet, Moze Shisha, Brohood Tobacco and Hookain, among others.
