Hookah tobacco with iced tea: tea meets fruit

As a flavour, iced tea consists of a tart black tea base rounded off with sugar and fruit. As with the drink, the fruit decides the direction – and the data puts the two classics in front.

• Peach: the most frequent partner, in line with the widespread peach iced tea.
• Lemon: close behind, for the sour version.
• Soda, bergamot, mango: each only occasionally; soda stresses the drink character, bergamot the Earl Grey side of the tea.

Contrary to what the name suggests, “iced” says nothing about a cooling effect here; there is a separate value, ice, for that. On the bowl: instead of perforated foil, you can also use a metal screen as the cover; in both cases the charcoal sits directly on it.
