Black grape in hookah tobacco: dark, often with mint

Compared with the general value grape, black grape is darker and deeper: juicy, with a wine-like note and a tart skin. In the filter the two are separate; some varieties carry both entries, most only one.

• Mint: the clearly dominant pairing of dark fruit and herb with a cooling effect.
• Grape: appears on some varieties in addition and emphasises the fruit.
• Ice: occasionally, as a cool addition.

Which cover you choose for the bowl is a question of your set-up: perforated aluminium foil carries the charcoal directly, a chimney attachment distributes the heat, and an HMD keeps the charcoal in a vessel whose lid can be adjusted.
